This is a list of performances & assemblies that I have developed to meet commonly requested themes.

Each of these performances feature energetic folktales from around the world and are highly interactive with call-and-response, rhythm and rhyme, and audience participation. I work with folktales that empower both literacy and social emotional skills while engaging audiences with an active experience of creative thinking and curriculum tie-ins.

Each performance lasts 45-60 minutes, depending on your needs.

Shero: Stories Celebrating Strong Female Characters.

Enter the world of folktales where clever, strong, bold female characters solve problems and save the day.

A Mighty Word: Folktales About the Power of Reading & Language

Invite your audience into an exciting and interactive experience of the power of language and communication. This performance inspires a love of reading and literacy skills as the audience is immersed in a world where characters that must use reading, writing, and speaking to defeat giants and overcome obstacles.

Brave of Heart

Stories about courage, anti-bullying and respect. In each of these folktales, characters assumed to be small, weak, or unloveable discover that they are able to stand up for themselves and what is right, and to make the world a better place in the process.

Earth Tales

Come walk down a path full of stories that inspire students and audiences to understand ecological processes, and to care for and respect the nature all around us.

Silver & Gold

A treasure chest of tales brimming over with characters who discover, seek, or protect items of great value, learning along the way that sometimes the most prized things in life don’t shimmer and shine but are found in the heart.

Waking Up

The first touches of spring are in the air and you’ve almost made it through the long, cold winter! Celebrate with a storytelling performance all about spring and the joy that it brings. You'll go on a journey through budding meadows to meet characters waking up from their long winter naps, emerging from their cocoons, and waking up to a sense of newness in their lives.

Lovely Stories

Roses are red, violets are blue, storytelling is happening and we invite you! This group of stories celebrates tales of love and friendship. You’ll meet fools in love, unlikely friends, and caring kin that will bring all the feels to your heart.

Winter Lights

Draw in close and cozy as we meet the dim winter days with the warmth of storytelling. Winter Lights features folk and fairy tales all about snow, ice, and the warmth of light breaking through in cold places.

Cliff Hanger Stories

Rachael starts the traditional folktales, students finish these old stories with their own new twists.
